Payment Policy

How payments, commissions, and refunds work on the Tenzen B2B marketplace.

1. How payments work

All payments on Tenzen are processed through the platform’s secure payment infrastructure. Buyers pay into the platform, and funds are released to the verified seller once the order terms — quantity, specification, and delivery milestone — are confirmed. This protects both sides: buyers aren’t charged for goods that never ship, and sellers aren’t left chasing payment after delivery.

2. Accepted payment methods

• Bank transfer (Brac Bank and other major Bangladeshi banks)
• International wire transfer for verified export buyers
• Mobile financial services, where available for domestic transactions

3. Platform commission

Tenzen earns a transaction commission of up to 5% on every verified trade processed through the marketplace. This fee covers buyer verification, secure payment handling, and platform infrastructure. There are no hidden charges beyond the disclosed commission and any optional value-added services (logistics coordination, quality inspection, compliance support) a seller chooses to use.

4. Currency

Domestic transactions are processed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Export transactions with international buyers may be processed in USD or another agreed currency, converted at the prevailing rate at time of payment.

5. Refunds and disputes

1. If goods received do not match the agreed order specification, the buyer can raise a dispute within the order’s review window.
2. Tenzen reviews the claim, including any quality inspection records tied to the order.
3. Verified disputes are resolved through refund, replacement, or partial credit, agreed between buyer and seller with Tenzen mediating.
